WINTER PARK, Fla. -- A Winter Park minister is accused of wanting to "play doctor" and have sex with what he thought was a 15-year-old girl.Investigators said music minister Jack Aldrich from First United Methodist Church in Winter Park made contact with an undercover officer posing as an underage girl.Information from the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office showed Aldrich allegedly had cybersex with the officer posing as the girl.An arrest warrant also showed that the church minister began chatting with the undercover detective on March 10.For the next two weeks, there were several conversations, the report said. Some of their talks were graphic, Local 6's J.R. Stone reported.Detectives said the conversations became more intense and at one point, Aldrich used a webcam during some of the chat sessions.Since his arrest, Aldrich's desktop at the church has been seized, along with a laptop computer.Aldrich oversaw at least eight different vocal groups, including a youth choir and children's choir at the church, Local 6 reported.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
