ORLANDO, Fla. -- A 9-year-girl in Orlando was hit and injured by a car after getting a snack from an ice cream truck Monday night.Police said the girl was hit by the car on Ridge Creek Court and Brook Hollow Drive in Orlando.The girl's father heard his daughter getting hit by the vehicle."I heard the kids screaming and came to the front of the ice cream truck and saw my daughter on the ground and in front of the car," the girl's father Victor Pinero said. "The first thing you know, I just picked up my daughter and took her inside."Florida Highway Patrol troopers are calling the incident an accident.The girl was expected to recover from her injuries.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
