The rare Betty Boop statute greeted tourists and other visitors outside Art Vue Galerie at 225 state Road 520 in Cocoa Village before it was stolen.

Clark Moody, owner of Art Vue Galerie, said he carried the statue out to the front of the gallery but at some point it was stolen.

His wife, Jan Moody, said many visitors would stop by take photos with Betty.

The couple said they have turned down offers of up to $3,000 for the statue.

Anyone with information about the statue is asked to call 321-636-2787.
