LAKE MARY, Fla. -- A mystery woman reeking of gasoline and wearing all-white clothing with only her eyes showing robbed a Seminole County bank on Tuesday, deputies said.
The woman entered RBC Centura Bank, located at 4309 W. Lake Mary Blvd. in Lake Mary, at about 11:15 a.m., and passed a note to a teller demanding money in small bundles be placed into a backpack, Seminole County sheriff's deputies said.
The teller placed an undisclosed amount of money and a dye pack into the bag, and the woman left, deputies said. The dye pack exploded in the parking lot, deputies said.
The woman fled in a gold 1994 Honda Acura. She was described as about 5 feet 4 inches tall with a dark complexion. She had a white cloth wrapped around her head and face, exposing only her eyes. The teller also indicated that the suspect had a strong odor of gasoline about her.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call CrimeLine at 800-423-TIPS.
