Neil Fischer, 52, of Leesburg was charged with aggravated assault Friday.

Police said Fischer, who is owner of one of Lake County's largest real-estate firms, drove his plane 15 to 20 mph behind an employee with Sun Air Aviation.

The man, who was in a golf cart, turned off the taxiway to avoid a collision because he was in fear of his life, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.

Fischer surrendered to police Friday.

He was also charged with one count of stalking.

A motive for the alleged incident was not known.
