Businessman Tries To Run Down Man With Plane, Police Say
Neil Fischer, 52, of Leesburg was charged with aggravated assault Friday.Police said Fischer, who is owner of one of Lake County's largest real-estate firms, drove his plane 15 to 20 mph behind an employee with Sun Air Aviation.The man, who was in a golf cart, turned off the taxiway to avoid a collision because he was in fear of his life, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.Fischer surrendered to police Friday.He was also charged with one count of stalking.A motive for the alleged incident was not known.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
