Boys Lead Police On High-Speed Chase

HOLLY HILL, Fla. -- Police are searching for two of four boys who led eight patrol cars and a helicopter through Holly Hill neighborhoods Sunday during a high-speed chase.

Daytona police said they spotted the group of boys in a stolen Pontiac G6 car after a reported purse snatching at a Wal-Mart store located on Granada Boulevard Sunday.Investigators said the boys spotted police and fled.The 15-year-old driver eventually crashed into a Daytona Beach police officer's car and a foot pursuit ensued, police said.Officers took two of the boys into custody.Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the two boys is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
