4 Stabbed At 300-Person Gathering

PIERSON, Fla. -- Four people were stabbed and injured during a large gathering in Pierson, police said.Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Lyons Club on 1st Avenue and spotted a crowd of as many as 300 people.Officers found two men with injuries to their head and upper body. They were treated at the scene.After an investigation it was determined that two other stabbing victims had already been transported to Florida Hospital DeLand in personal vehicles, a police report said.Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the stabbings and who is responsible.The victims' names were not released.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
