SEFFNER, Fla. -- A Florida man died after drinking as many as 25 shots of vodka in less than an hour at a bikini bar, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Eric Morris, 26, was taking part of a drinking game at the Angels Show Bar off U.S. Highway 92 in Seffner before his death.
Local 6 reported the Morris kept drinking after another bar patron in the contest stopped doing shots.
A sheriff's representative told the Tampa Tribune that Morris got up, staggered a few steps and collapsed.
Morris died at Brandon Regional Hospital two hours after the contest started.
Morris was recently released from a Florida prison after serving time for burglary, the Tribune reported.
Deputies are trying to determine if anyone will face charges in his death.
