An Orlando high school student aced the SAT, scoring a perfect 2400 score.

Santhosh Balasubramanian, who is going into his senior year at Timber Creek High School, earned the perfect score.

More than 90,000 students nationally take the SAT every year, and a few more than 100 earn a perfect score, school officials said.

Balasubramanian is a member and officer of Timber Creek’s debate team, the concert master for the Timber Creek Chamber Orchestra and performs with the Florida Symphony Chamber Orchestra. He also plays tennis.

Balasubramanian hopes to attend Stanford University upon graduation in 2009.
