The grandmother of missing Caylee Anthony said her daughter, Casey, 22, doesn't trust local authorities and begged the FBI to get involved in the case over the weekend.

"(Casey) has been wanting to cooperate with authorities, she just doesn't trust the local authorities," Cindy Anthony said. "She said she'd be open to speaking with the FBI.

However, on Sunday, Casey Anthony's brother, Lee, told Local 6 that she will talk with local detectives.

"I asked her point blank, 'Are you ready to speak with Orange County?'" Casey Anthony's brother, Lee, said. "She said, "I'm ready to do it.'"

Lee Anthony said his sister is providing details in the case.

"She is maintaining the same information she has said but now in a more detailed and accurate way," Casey Anthony's brother, Lee, said.

Cindy Anthony refused interviews Sunday after telling Local 6 that she is upset the focus in the media has been on her daughter and not finding Caylee.

Anthony also said she is requesting detectives to reveal anything they have learned from recent tips out of Georgia, Local 6 reported.

Caylee has not been seen since June 9 and no solid leads have come in recent days, Local 6's Jessica Sanchez said.

Family Threatened?

Meanwhile, Casey Anthony apparently feels that there is a threat against her family.

Cindy Anthony and her husband, George, maintain that their daughter is terrified for their safety and the safety of Caylee, Local 6's Kimberly Houk reported.

"She is doing the best she can to give us clues without endangering her family," Cindy Anthony said Saturday. "That was confirmed yesterday -- that she is fearful. And I saw it in her eyes."

"Well, maybe she is protecting us," George Anthony said. "Maybe she is protecting her daughter in some way. Maybe someone is holding her because of something that may have happened."

George Anthony also said he was not concerned about any possible threat.

"I told my daughter, 'Don't worry about me, don't worry about your mom and don't worry about your brother,'" George Anthony said. "Anyone who wants to come and hurt us, we can handle that. We'll deal with that. We want Caylee back, no matter what."

"I don't want to jeopardize my granddaughter in any way," Cindy Anthony said. "We are going to honor our daughter's wishes and hopefully we can figure it all out without her betraying whoever is doing this to her."

Also, the family continues to believe that Caylee's whereabouts are tied to the mysterious babysitter Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. However, detectives are not sure the woman exists.

"She wanted to do a composite sketch with them but they have not brought anyone in to do that about this babysitter," Cindy Anthony said.

The family said they continue to receive a flood of calls with tips concerning Caylee, including calls from psychics.

Anthony Talks To Nation

Meanwhile, Cindy Anthony appeared on CBS' 'The Early Show' Saturday and said she wondered why so much suspicion is on her daughter and not looking for the baby sitter.

"She has been kidnapped by a person the local authorities said doesn't exist," Cindy Anthony said. "There are nine people with that name in Orlando, Florida. There are four people with that name in Winter Haven, Florida and there are people with that name in Miami and four people with that name in New York City and three in the Bronx. So come on folks, someone needs to start listening to my daughter and if it is not the local authorities, will the FBI please get involved in this case and come and interview my daughter like she has been requesting?"

The family said getting Casey out of jail is not a priority since jail may be the safest place for her.
