People Magazine Article 'Blindsides' Missing Orlando Girl's Family
DNA Results Expected In Anthony Case
"Don't look at the article that is in People magazine and formulate, 'Oh my God, this and that and whatever,'" George Anthony said. "The article was not put together how we were told it was going to be put together. Again, we have gotten blindsided. My family got blindsided."Missing Caylee Anthony is on the cover of the People magazine with an article inside that is not favorable to her mother, Casey Anthony, 22."My wife and I cried yesterday when we got a chance to read that article," George Anthony said. The Anthony family said they see the report as another bashing by the media from reporters focusing on jailed Casey Anthony rather than missing Caylee, Local 6's Kimberly Houk reported. The family said finding Caylee is the only thing that matters."I want to be everywhere," George Anthony said. "I'm getting phone calls, 'George, I'm seeing here, George, I'm seeing her there.' I can't disclose that information to you because if she is there guess what, if I disclose that to you, you know what would happen? She is going to be gone. So, I need to work with local law enforcement."
Gas Cans Checked
Meanwhile, investigators are still checking two gas cans taken from the house Friday. The cans were recovered by investigators Friday in just five minutes from the home located on Hopespring Drive in Orange County."The police are doing their jobs," Casey Anthony's attorney Jose Baez said. "Just because they went there and retrieved items doesn't make it evidence."And DNA results from evidence found in Casey Anthony's care are expected by next week, Local 6 has learned.Casey Anthony was arrested on child neglect charges about two weeks ago in connection with her daughter's disappearance and is being held at the Orange County Jail.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
