Man Possibly Armed With AK-47 Barricaded Inside

WINDERMERE, Fla. -- A SWAT team was called to a Windermere home in connection with reports that a teen was armed with an AK-47 and barricaded in the structure.Police responded Thursday to the 11000 block of Clipper Court in the Marina Bay Estates off Maguire Road near Lake Down Circle when a man called 911 about a dispute he was having with his son.Officers believed the 19-year-old was hiding inside the home and armed. So, no one was allowed to leave or come into the area for nearly six hours.However, the teen left through the back door before police arrived and was not carrying a weapon, Local 6 reported.The homeowner said they were arguing about money.An investigation into the incident continues.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
