LONGWOOD, Fla. -- A man who works as a director at a Seminole County studio was arrested on suspicion of performing lewd acts on three teens after asking them what they were willing to do to have a role in an upcoming play, deputies said.
Ismael Angel Rios, 27, of Sanford, was arrested Monday on two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation and one count of lewd and lascivious conduct on a minor.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, Rios asked the teens what they were willing to do to receive a part in a play and took them either to his car or the office of Turning Point Dance Studio, located at 3869 Wekiva Springs Road in Longwood, and performed a lewd act on two of them.
Turning Point Dance Studio instructors told Local 6 News that Rios is not affiliated with their studio but with the Wekiva River Players, a community theater company that rents studio space from Turning Point.
The teen girls, ages 13, 14 and 15 years old, told investigators similar stories about separate sexual encounters initiated by Rios, who told them he had a foot fetish, deputies said.
Rios was arrested and transported to the Seminole County Jail. He was released early Tuesday morning after posting a $10,000 bond.
