Resident Forced To Ground At Gunpoint

AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- Three home invaders wearing dark clothing and bandanas over their faces broke into an Auburndale home, forced a resident to the ground at gunpoint and stole a Xbox before fleeing, deputies said.
According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, three males entered the home, located on Senate Street, at about 10:45 a.m. Monday and forced the victim to the ground.
The victim was able to break free and fled on foot to a nearby residence to seek help, deputies said. The victim suffered minor abrasions as a result of the altercation, deputies said.
The invaders stole an Xbox before fleeing on foot, Polk County sheriff's deputies said.
The assailants, described as wearing black hooded sweatshirts, dark clothing and bandanas, were last seen in the area of Adams Street and Polk Street in Auburndale.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
