YULEE, Fla. – An 18-month-old boy was hospitalized in stable condition after being left in a hot car Tuesday afternoon, according to Nassau County deputies.
WJXT reports the boy may have been left in the car for more than an hour just after noon.

The parents left home Tuesday morning as the mother took the father to work, WJXT reports. A source told WJXT she returned home and forgot the child in the car in the driveway.
Deputies and Department of Children and Families investigators were questioning the parent.
