Police Release Composite Sketches In Attempted Abductions Of Girls
Officials Call Kidnapping Tries Similar

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Daytona Beach police on Monday released two composite sketches after two girls were nearly abducted in separate incidents in the past two months.
The abduction attempts, which police said were similar in nature, occurred on Oct. 7 and Nov. 19.
The person involved in one of the abduction attempts was described as a black man in his early 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall with short hair. He was driving a small, dark, four-door car.
The other person was described as a chubby black man about 18 to 22 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall with short hair. He was driving a small, white two-door vehicle.
Anyone with information about the incidents is urged to call the Daytona Beach Police Department.
