Painting Created By Dog Fetches $295 On eBay

Sheltie Created Work With Paint On Paws

POSTED: 10:08 a.m. EST January 28, 2003

A painting created by a dog in Longwood, Fla., was sold on eBay for $295, according to Local 6 News.

The painting called "Patriotism Noir" was made Mark and Kathy Cochran's sheltie pet dog named Sheltie Q.

Sheltie Q created the work by giving the canvas "high-fives" with paint on her paws.

The Cochran's had hoped to get $50 for the painting but instead nearly made $300.

The money will reportedly be used to benefit sheltie-rescue efforts and to help people who care for homless shelties.
