KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Two recent crimes involve women being attacked outside stores by other women.
Surveillance video from a Kissimmee Wal-Mart shows an 88-year-old woman's purse being taken from her shopping cart Tuesday morning.
Police said the victim was pushing her cart to her car when a woman came up behind her and snatched her purse. The victim fell down, but was not seriously injured.
Police said the suspect was seen driving off with two other women.
In a separate case, a woman was attacked outside a Casselberry Target by a woman trying to take her purse Monday night.
Police said a woman hit the victim and they both fell down in the parking lot.
The suspect tried to reach inside the victim's purse to grab her wallet, but was unsuccessful.
"She just walked behind me and tried to grab my purse and pulled me down and said, 'Give me your purse,' and started kicking me and hitting me with her Sprite bottle and I was just screaming, 'Help,' " the victim said.
Police think the same woman also snatched another purse from a shopping cart at a Maitland Publix earlier in the day on Monday.
