Detectives have identified the body of a woman that was discovered Monday in a wooded area in Eatonville.

The body was identified by a family member as Lashanda Brand, according to Orange County sheriff's deputies.

Investigators continue to seek the public's help in learning information about Brand's death. Anyone who recognizes Brand and has any information about her death is urged to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.

Before Brand was identified, investigators released numerous tattoos that were on Brand's body in an effort to find out who the woman was.
