ORLANDO, Fla. -- Two brothers -- ages 19 and 21 -- were shot Friday morning when two gunmen entered their Orange County home and threatened their father, deputies said.
Orange County sheriff's deputies said the assailants were taken into custody after being pulled over following the shooting. A shotgun, AK-47 and a handgun were found in their vehicle, deputies said.
According to deputies, the gunmen approached a woman who was sitting in the garage of her home, located at 7509 Country Run Parkway. The woman's husband, Kumar Bhoja, went to the garage, and one of the gunman took him inside the house, deputies said.
"I was sleeping in the living room and I just heard this guy come inside. He had a gun and he was holding it to my dad and he told him to lay down before he shoots him, so I got up and called 911," the daughter of the family said.
The girl's brothers got into a scuffle with the gunmen, and shots were fired, she said.
"I went outside -- there were gunshots -- and my brothers were already shot."
The shooting victims, who were struck in their legs, were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
It's not known why the culprits targeted the home.
