Deputies said on Friday they believe the robbery that occurred on May 19 could be related to an earlier robbery at a Kangaroo Express on May 15 at a station on North Wekiwa Springs Boulevard where the the masked gunman stole money from the cash register.

The May 19 robbery occurred at the Zellwood Kangaroo Express on North Orange Blossom Trail just before 5 a.m. by a man wearing a T-shirt over his face.

Detectives say that there are similar patterns to the two robberies and that the culprits may be different individuals, but could be working together.
