ORLANDO, Fla. -

A mother and her daughter were killed in a crash Monday in Orlando, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 5:40 p.m. Monday at Rose Boulevard and Texas Avenue.

Troopers said a 2008 Nissan was traveling southbound on Texas Avenue as a 2013 Toyota Camry traveled eastbound on Rose Avenue.

According to witnesses, the Camry, with 49-year-old Silvia Flores driving and her 23-year-old daughter Jennifer Flores riding as a passenger, stopped at the stop sign and then entered the intersection.

The front of the Nissan, driven by 19-year-old Fizal Rahaman with 20-year-old Franck Mission riding as a passenger, struck the left side of the Camry, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Silvia and Jennifer Flores were killed as a result of Monday's crash.
