2 cars involved in fatal crash

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash in Seminole County killed two people and left a third injured.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the crash happened at Dodd Road and Kinsley Place about 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Troopers said a Ford Mustang going southbound on Dodd Road failed to turn properly at a curve in the roadway and went over the raised median and into the northbound lanes.

It hit a Volvo traveling northbound head-on. The Mustang overturned after the crash.

Christine Matthews, 48, of San Antonio, was driving the Mustang. She and her passenger, Patricia Cronk, 67, of Winter Springs, were killed.

Kimberly Pisarski, 46, of Orlando, was driving the Volvo. She was taken to Orange County Medical Center.

Her condition was not immediately released.

Investigators are looking into whether alcohol played a factor in the crash.
