Neither passenger was wearing a helmet, deputies say
Two people were seriously injured after being thrown from a motorcycle during the early morning hours on Thursday.
Police were called after a crash was reported on State Road 434 in Longwood near the intersection of Interstate 4. According to deputies, a black Harley Davidson motorcycle had lost control after exiting the ramp.
Officials say the motorcycle traveled across the westbound lanes across the median and both passengers, a man and a woman, were ejected from the vehicle. Neither of them were wearing helmets.
