NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- A man was found dead inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a Volusia County bar late Sunday night after police received reports of shots fired. The man's body was found at about 11:15 at Jan and Lib's Hi-Tops, located at 319 N. Ridgewood Ave. in Edgewater.According to New Smyrna Beach police, a caller reported shots being fired between two vehicles in the 1400 block of South Palmetto Street in New Smyrna Beach. Minutes later, a second caller reported a dead man in a car at the bar, police said.The name of the victim has not yet been released.The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
