What was your favorite childhood toy?

The National Toy Hall of Fame has announced the 12 finalists for this year's induction.

They include: bubbles, chess, Clue, Fisher-Price Little People, Little Green Army Men, Magic 8 Ball, My Little Pony, Nerf toys, Pac-Man, rubber duck, scooter, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Two toys will be selected as winners and announced November 7 at a ceremony at the National Museum of Play at The Strong, with a celebration to continue that weekend.

Leigh Rubin, a nationally syndicated cartoonist and the creator of the cartoon, Rubes, will give a presentation during the weekend.

Anyone can nominate a toy for induction.

To date, 51 toys have made it into the National Toy Hall of Fame.
