Grenade Thrown Into Fla. Home

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- Hollywood police say someone threw a hand grenade into a South Florida home Wednesday morning.
The people inside the home (pictured, left) at 1511 S. 24th Court threw the grenade back outside where it came to rest on their front lawn. It did not explode, but police did evacuate the area and call in the bomb squad.
The bomb squad pulled the pin on the explosive and nothing happened. They say it was an old grenade made to look like it was active.
Police are looking at the possibility that the incident may have been an act of retaliation because one of the sons living in the house got into a fight recently at his high school.
