ORLANDO, Fla. -- New jailhouse tapes have been released from the second visit James Ward had with his daughter and sister-in-law four days after his wife's death in their Isleworth mansion.
Ward was charged with second-degree murder after his wife was found shot in the head in the master bedroom of their home on Sept. 21.
Video from Ward's first visit with his family showed him dancing and laughing, and in a visit later in the day on Friday, Ward tells his family his biggest complaint – his filthy cell.
"I'd just like to get out of this nasty cell. I mean, this place hasn't been cleaned since I can't tell you when," Ward said.
Ward's sister-in-law Paula Saare jokes back about calling housekeeping for him.
Ward's daughter, Mallory Ward, can be seen making faces and sticking out her tongue during the visit.
At one point, James Ward noticed Saare looked uncomfortable, and asked how she was doing.
Mallory Ward mentions that her mother, Diane Ward, would want them all to be together during this time.
At the end of the visit, James Ward proclaimed his innocence.
"I'll never replace Diane. I don't want to replace her," James Ward said.
Saare reminded him not to go into details about his wife's death because the conversation was being recorded.
Bob Ward initially told a 911 dispatcher he shot his wife, but he changed his story and is now telling investigators his wife's death was a suicide. He told his daughter he will explain the whole story to the family when he is out of jail.
