The man stabbed outside an upscale Winter Park restaurant on Halloween night never got a good look at his attackers because they were wearing Halloween costumes, police said.

Winter Park police said the assailants tried to rob James Manley as he left the Park Plaza Gardens restaurant Saturday night.

Manley tried to fight duo off, but he was stabbed in the chest several times, police said. Manley remains hospitalized.

Winter Park police said one of the attackers was wearing a mask from the "Scream" movie and a black wig with long hair.

The other culprit was wearing a white mask with a black hood pulled over his head.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
