Former Real Radio Host Accused Of Shooting Dog, Wife

SANFORD, Fla. -- Shannon Burke's lawyer is still trying to work out a plea deal for the former Real Radio talk show host.

In a brief hearing held Wednesday morning, the case against Burke was again pushed back.Burke's attorney said he is getting closer to working out a plea deal with prosecutors.Burke is accused of shooting his wife's dog in April. The bullet then grazed the head of Burke's wife, police said.Catherine Burke filed for divorce shortly after the incident, but the couple has since reconciled.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
