2 Killed In Small Plane Crash Near Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Two people were killed when a small airplane crashed near Tallahassee.
The single-engine aircraft went down about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday between the Tallahassee Regional Airport and Highway 20. Authorities didn't immediately identify the victims or its route.
They also didn't speculate on what caused the crash.
Deputies responded to the scene after a fire was reported about 2½ miles into a forest.
Investigators from the National Transportation Board and Federal Aviation Administration were expected to gather on-scene Thursday.
