Man Was Accused Of Pushing Girlfriend Off 16th-Floor Balcony On New Year's Eve

The man accused of pushing his girlfriend off the balcony of a local hotel on New Year's Eve has been cleared of all charged against him.

Jonathan Speegle's attorney, Mark NeJame, told Local 6 that prosecutors have dropped all charges against his client.

Speegle was charged with murder in the death of Nicole Hammond. Prosecutors said he pushed her from the 16th floor balcony of their hotel room at the Marriott World Center on New Year's Eve 2008.

From the beginning NeJame challenged the forensic evidence the state relied on to get an indictment against Speegle.
