A man has been arrested after being accused of raping a woman in downtown Orlando.

An officer was flagged down by a woman early Tuesday morning near South Westmoreland Drive and Randall Street. She told the officer she was raped at gunpoint near Albany Avenue and Randall Street.

The woman told the officer she was walking home around 3 a.m. when she was approached by a man in his 30s wearing a shirt with "R.I.P." printed across the front. She said he told her he was frustrated and wanted sex.

The victim said the man pulled out what appeared to be a gun and forced her into the bushes where he raped her and held what felt like a gun to the back of her head.

Police located a man fitting the victim's description near Westmoreland Drive and Carter Street. The victim identified the man as her attacker.

Tyrone Dukes was charged with armed kidnapping, sexual battery with a firearm and simple battery.
