Officials said a fire tore through a shop in Daytona Beach Shores on Tuesday night.

According to officials, flames were seen shooting from the Hurricane Beach and Sportswear Shop, located at 2142 S. Atlantic Ave., at about 6:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported, but officials said the free-standing building was completely destroyed.

The state fire marshal said the fire began in the front of the store after it closed for the night, but the cause of the fire is still a mystery.

Investigators said they are looking into every possibility, including an electrical malfunction or arson.

This was the third Daytona Beach gift shop to catch fire in the last three months.
