A homemade acid bomb detonated in the courtyard of a Central Florida high school Tuesday morning.

No students were injured when the bomb exploded near Cypress Creek High School's administrative offices around 7:20 a.m., the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

The school was placed on a modified lockdown during the incident.

The Sheriff's Office said a teacher suffered minor burns to his finger while removing the device after detonation.

The Sheriff's Office is still investigating the incident. No charges have been filed.
