A tow truck driver in Orlando, Fla., accidentally towed away a van Tuesday parked at a convenience store with a 7-year-old girl locked inside, according to Local 6 News.
Police said that the girl's mother parked her van at a 7-11 store located at the corner of Central and Summerland and walked to a nearby coffee shop.
Within moments of parking, the van was towed with the girl inside.
Authorities said that the tow truck driver was about 7 blocks from the convenience store when he noticed a loose strap on the vehicle. When he pulled over to fix the strap, the driver noticed the girl in the van eating a lollipop.
The driver cracked open the window and called authorities.

Police said that the girl's mother did nothing illegal by leaving the girl in the van. The child must be 6 years old or younger to be ticketed.
The woman will have to pay to retrieve her van because she was parked illegally.
Local 6 News reported that the station has received complaints in the past about overzealous tow truck drivers circling the store where the woman's vehicle was towed.
The driver was not charged.
