ROCKLEDGE, Fla. -- A Rockledge man remains jailed on accusations he brutally killed two of his pets.

Rusty Lewark, 25, is facing two felony counts of animal cruelty after his dogs were found dead in a Dumpster outside of his Revilla Lane home on Sunday, police said.According to police, Lewark was upset because the dogs attacked another dog. Police said he beat one dog on the head until it died, then hanged the other dog with a noose.Animal Services officials said the animals were medium to large dogs but did not release their breeds.A relative of Lewark informed police about the incident, police said.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
