An attempted murder suspect has been arrested after a brief chase.
Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies tried to stop a car on state Road 429 around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday because they believed an attempted murder suspect was in the vehicle, the Sheriff's Office said.
The Sheriff's Office said the driver sped up upon seeing the deputies and continued to speed until the car ran through a fence and the two occupants bailed out of the car near Stoneybrook Parkway.
Both people were captured after a brief foot pursuit.
The Sheriff's Office did not name either person or give specifics about the attempted murder the person is suspected of.
