Disney Worker Struck By Car On Ride

Walt Disney World Employee Suffers Broken Leg

A Walt Disney World worker suffered a broken leg Sunday afternoon in a crash at the Magic Kingdom.

The worker, whose name has not been released, was struck by a car driven by a guest on the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway.

Fire officials said the worker stepped in front of a gas-powered car on the track. The ride has a top speed of 7 mph.

The employee was taken to an Orlando hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The attraction was closed but reopened about three hours after the incident.
