ORLANDO, Fla. -- A woman who claims George Anthony confided in her about how Caylee Anthony died revealed details of her story to Local 6 News' Tony Pipitone.

In her only one-on-one interview, Krystal Holloway said that the statements she gave to investigators -- which are about to be released -- are true.

Holloway could be used as a witness for the prosecution in Casey Anthony's murder trial based on her alleged knowledge of George Anthony's behavior during the months Caylee was missing.

Caylee Anthony was 2 years old when she was reported missing July 2008. Her remains were found in December 2008 and her mother, Casey Anthony, 24, is charged with first-degree murder in her death.

Holloway said investigators questioned her about whether George Anthony knows more than he has let on.

While Caylee was still missing, George Anthony publicly insisted the toddler would be home by her third birthday in August 2008, but Holloway said, in private, the grandfather acted as if he knew she was dead.

"He knew. He's known and I'm looking you in the face, he and Cindy have both known that she's been deceased," Holloway said.

George and Cindy Anthony deny that, and through his attorney, George Anthony has denied everything Holloway has claimed, including the nature of their relationship.

Holloway said, around a month before Caylee's body was found, George Anthony told her the toddler died by accident.

"He was sitting on a chair and I was sitting on the floor and he grabbed my hands and he said it was an accident that snowballed out of control," Holloway said.

Holloway admitted that she does not know how George Anthony knew Caylee's death was accidental and that the photos and text messages she provided to police will not prove he misled the public or had an affair.

The materials provided to police by Holloway could be made public as early as Monday, including what she described as two grueling interrogations over two days in February.

"It was quite intimidating. I was shaking like a lead and they asked me a lot of questions. They also knew a lot of stuff, too, and was wondering if I was going to tell the truth," Holloway said.

Holloway speculated that George Anthony might have just wanted to believe his granddaughter's death was an accident.

"I think for him, it would have been a whole lot easier for him to live with that, it had to have been an accident. I mean, who wouldn't want to do that?" Holloway said.

If George Anthony testifies in court, Holloway could be called to rebut some of his statements.

Holloway also goes by an alias, River Cruz, which she said she adopted when she left a violent boyfriend behind in New York 13 years ago.

"I am not a gold digger," she told Pipitone. "(I) don't want to make any money off of this. I feel bad that little girl is dead."

Krystal Holloway's sister, Cecelia, went on CNN's "Nancy Grace" show to support a story detailed in the National Enquirer on Wednesday that Krystal had an affair with George Anthony while his granddaughter, Caylee, was missing.

Krystal Holloway said she told detectives last month that George Anthony told her that he thought Caylee had died in accident.

"I turned around and I almost started to cry," she said. "And I turned my head and he grabbed my hands, and he said, 'It was an accident that snowballed out of control.'"

However, she said she couldn't say why George Anthony thought it was an accident.

She admitted that there wasn't any other proof of what he told her that night.

She said her text messages and photos, which also will be released soon, do not contain George Anthony's views on the nature of Caylee's death or proof their relationship was intimate. She said the Enquirer offered her up to $7,000 for her story, but she turned it down.

"I don't want anybody to think that I want to make any money and profit off of somebody's little girl's death," Krystal Holloway said.

Local 6 reported that Cecelia Holloway was in jail from August 2008 to January 2009, the time the two sisters claim the alleged affair with George Anthony was blossoming.

Court records showed that both sisters have prior arrest records for attempted burglary of a structure and thefts.

"Me and my sister are twins, but we're like night and day," she said. "I'm not proud of the things I've done in the past, but ever since I came to the state of Florida, ... I've straightened out my life."

But now she said she's fending off offers from networks and tabloid TV shows.

"I haven' taken a deal yet," she said. "If it was about the money, I would have been on the plane to New York."
