Thongs May Be Banned On Cape Canaveral Beaches

Thongs and other skimpy bathing suits could be banned on the beaches of Cape Canaveral, Fla., according to Local 6 News.
A new ordinance is up for vote Tuesday at Cape Canaveral's city council meeting. The ordinance would ban public nudity, which would include topless and nude sun bathing as well as g-strings and thong bathing suits.
A similar ban is already in place in Daytona Beach, Fla.
