Husband Of Brain-Damaged Woman Blasts Family
Schiavo Questions Motives Of Relatives
TERRI SCHIAVO, 1963-2005 |
Michael Schiavo made the accusations in an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live." His wife, Terri, has been in a coma since 1990. Schiavo -- who is fighting to remove her feeding tube -- insists it would have been her wish. In the CNN interview, he accused his father-in-law of wanting a share of malpractice settlement money. He also said his in-laws have more recently been influenced by right-to-life politics. Appearing on Fox News' "On the Record with Greta Van Sustern," the attorney for Bob and Mary Schindler countered that Michael Schiavo knew his wife never had end-of-life wishes. Pat Anderson went on to say, "It's hard to know what to believe with him because he says whatever the occasion demands or what is in his financial interests." - October 27, 2003: Lawyers Have Just Days To Challenge 'Terri's Law'
