APOPKA, Fla. -- For the second time in two days, a police officer's gun was found after being left at a school, according to Local 6 News.
Officials said that a resource officer at Apopka Memorial Middle School accidentally left his gun in a school bathroom before school started Friday.
A teacher found it later in the day. The gun was not fired and no one was injured.
Local 6 News reported that the officer has been suspended for two days and moved to another school.
Wednesday, an Orlando police officer's gun was found at Kaley Elementary School by a student.
Apparently, the officer lost the weapon while at the school the night before during an event.
An investigation continues in the incident at Kaley Elementary School.
