A Missouri family is fighting to save their child's $7,000 backyard jungle gym that towers over homes in their neighborhood, according to a Local 6 News report.

Seventeen of 22 neighbors in a Manchester neighborhood signed a petition earlier this year that objected to the 21-foot wood jungle gym in Lauren Pruitt's back yard. Her father built the giant structure for her son, Jack.
Manchester officials ruled this week that the family must chop off at least 7 feet of the jungle gym because it violates city code, according to the report. The city code prohibits accessory structures from being taller than a home.
The family says if the jungle gym comes down they will sell their house and move.
