A woman arrested with her mother in Osceola County, Fla., for allegedly selling cocaine and marijuana from their home admitted to police that her 8-year-old daughter was used to retrieve drugs for customers, according to authorities.

During an investigation, agents with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office Street Narcotics and Gangs unit determined that Luz Gonzalez and her daughter Ida Rivera had reportedly sold illegal drugs from their home at 131 Juarez Drive.

Agents made a controlled buy this week at the residence where Gonzalez, Rivera and Rivera's 8-year-old daughter were present, according to an incident report.

Agents searched the home and recovered $2,775, two scales, 550 grams of marijuana and 2.2 grams of cocaine.

After Gonzalez and Rivera were taken into custody, Rivera confessed to agents that "she was aware that her mother uses her daughter to retrieve the drugs," the report said.

The girl reportedly knew that something was wrong when her grandmother would send her to retrieve "jungle green" from a bedroom dresser, according to the report. However, she was scared to tell authorities, investigators said.

Rivera and Gonzalez were arrested on suspicion of delivery of cocaine, possession of cocaine and child neglect.

The pair were transported to the Osceola County Corrections Wednesday.
