Silus, a Tabby cat, has been at Orange County Animal Services since December 21 after his family decided to move and could not keep him.

The family said it's not known how Silus lost his leg, but they believe he was born that way.

"All of the staff at Animal Services are hoping Silus finds a new forever home soon," said Dil Luther, Division Manager of Orange County Animal Services. "Silus has already been microchipped, vaccinated and neutered, so he's ready to go home with his new family today."

All adoption fees at Animal Services have been reduced to $20.14 during the month of January.

A video of Silus can be viewed at the Animal Services Facebook page.
