3 men arrested in Orange County burglary where homeowner opened fire

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Three men have been arrested and charged with occupied burglary of a home where the homeowner opened fire on the intruders on Aug. 1.

Police arrested Jose Rodriguez, 19, Maalik Hall, 19, and Brandon Morales, 17, for breaking into the home in the 8300 block of Fort Thomas Way just before 6 a.m.

Deputies said a man, his wife and their two children were in the home sleeping when the man awoke to find someone in his house. That man then reportedly shot at the intruder, but it's still unclear whether any of the men charged in the burglary were struck by the shot.

No other details were immediately released.
