LAKELAND, Fla. -

Lakeland police have arrested three middle school students after police say the students "were making plans to cause chaos" at their school.

Police said the school notified them after they found information on an alleged attack at Sleepy Hill Middle School.

The 12 and 13-year-old students have been charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit aggravated battery and conspiracy to construct destructive devices, according to a release.

Police said they don't believe any other students were involved.
