MELBOURNE, Fla. – Three women in Melbourne have been arrested and charged with solicitation to commit prostitution, police said Friday.
Janie I. Lane, Krystal L. Kirby and Sarah E. Wolfe were caught in a prostitution sting. They were arrested on the city’s north end, on the U.S. 1 corridor, according to a news release from the Melbourne Police Department.

The city will continue its efforts to target known prostitutes in Melbourne, officials said.
The charge the women face is considered a felony.
