Local 6 News reported that Andrea Williams, 32, confessed Tuesday night to killing her children -- ages 5, 6 and 9 -- and leaving them inside her home located at 890 Georgia Ave.

Wednesday, Williams made her first appearance in a North Carolina court, where she is being held on trespassing charges.

Local 6 News reported that if Williams waives extradition charges, she will be flown to Central Florida to face murder charges for the deaths of her children.

Detectives from Longwood traveled to North Carolina early Wednesday to bring Williams back to Central Florida Wednesday night but law requires that a female officer accompany a female inmate during extradition. Since there were no women available, Longwood police are now flying a female detective to North Carolina.

In Longwood, a judge issued a new search warrant for Williams' Longwood home, according to Local 6 News. Detectives will reportedly be looking for any controlled substances, prescription drugs or notes that may have outlined the alleged murder plot.

Investigators also confirmed Wednesday that the bodies of Ivy, 5; Ian, 6; and Ilona, 9 were found Tuesday placed on a trundle bed with a day bed set on top in their Longwood home Tuesday. They were found dressed in play clothes with the air conditioning set extremely low.

Detectives said that a missing license plate from a minivan currently parked outside the family's Longwood home was placed on a family member's Chevrolet Cavalier. Williams reportedly attempted to drive the Chevrolet Cavalier to North Carolina but the car apparently broke down on the way to a friend's house.

Police believe Williams hitchhiked her way into North Carolina to the friend's house where she was arrested on trespassing charges.

After her arrest Monday, Williams' comments led detectives to the Longwood home where the children were found in the bed, Local 6 News reported.

Longwood is about 15 miles north of Orlando.
